- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease with butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, whole milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and gently fold until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- For the streusel topping, mix together flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then cut in the cold butter until crumbly.
- Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Sprinkle the streusel topping generously over the batter.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the tops are golden brown.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
